Finding and Contacting Us - locating the Alpine Flying Centre chalet

If you decide to fly, our closest airport is Geneva in Switzerland, only an hour's drive to Passy. A number of low cost airlines fly into Geneva and renting a car or taking a minibus transfer is straightforward. Often renting a car is more economical than a private minibus if there are 3 or more persons.

Depending upon where you choose to fly from you can book low cost flights to Geneva;

Here's a good tip when thinking about low cost flights! Many airlines offer low cost flights either early or late in the day or night. However, unless you are hiring a car from the airport accessing us via an airport transfer company becomes difficult and expensive outside normal hours and public transport is near impossible. Try and plan your flights to arrive sometime between 09.00 - 19.00 hrs!

Airport Transfers from Geneva Aiport to Saint Gervais/Le Fayet.

Le Fayet is where the main line railway station, St Gervais les Bains/Le Fayet (74) and le Deux Gare hotel are found, and just a few minutes drive from us.

You could try OuiBus who offer a very nice public bus service generally every two hours from the airport and will take you to Le Fayet and only about 40 metres from the Deux Gares hotel, if you book with them.!

Other shared minibus companies like, AlpyBus can take you to Saint Gervais/Le Fayet and drop you off outside le Deux Gare hotel, if you choose to stay there.

The train from Paris takes around 5 hours. Try the French network for details. www.sncf.fr. Please don't try and take a train from Geneva Airport, it's not worth the hassle...

Passy is around 900kms or 9 hours drive from the north coast of France when using the Peage, the Toll motorway system. Please follow these directions.
